Who we are

This website and its text messaging program are operated by Castle Management Group, a privately held real estate company that owns, renovates, and leases its own rental homes and apartments in the Pittsburgh region of Pennsylvania.

Text messaging program

If you give us your mobile number and check the consent box on one of our forms, or give us your number and consent in person or in writing, Castle Management Group may send you text messages about your home and your tenancy.

What we send. Rent invoices and payment links, payment confirmations and reminders, maintenance request updates and technician arrival notices, showing confirmations and reminders, and notices about your lease or your building.

How often. Message frequency varies. Most residents receive roughly two to six messages per month, and more in a month with an active maintenance request.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for the messages; your mobile carrier may.

Consent is optional. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of renting from us, of applying, or of purchasing anything.

How to stop messages, and how to get help

Reply STOP to any message to end text messages at any time. You will get one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us directly using the details on this page.

If you stop text messages, we will still be able to reach you about your tenancy by email, phone, or mail, including for rent invoices and any notice the law requires us to give you. To start messages again, contact us and ask.

Carriers are not liable

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, and message delivery depends on your carrier and your device. Do not rely on a text message for an emergency — for a maintenance emergency, call us, and for a life-safety emergency, call 911.

Privacy

How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy. In short: no mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not sell your information.

Rent payments

Rent invoices are payable by card or by bank debit through Stripe, our payment processor. Bank debit payments are not instant and can take several business days to clear. A payment is credited when it settles, not when it is submitted, so allow time before your due date. If a payment fails or is returned, your lease terms govern any late fee or returned-payment fee that applies.

Using this website

Listings, availability, and rents shown here are for information and can change. Nothing on this site is an offer to lease, and it does not create a tenancy. A tenancy begins only with a signed lease. Photographs may show a comparable unit in the same building rather than the exact unit advertised.

We hold the rights to this site's content, design, and marks. Please do not copy or republish them without asking. Please do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the site or the systems behind it.

Limits and governing law

This website is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Castle Management Group is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits your rights under your lease or under Pennsylvania landlord-tenant law. These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
